Tim McKee, formerly a marketing executive with an MBA from Seattle University, has developed a program for
personal development through skiing that emphasizes facing challenges, overcoming fear, and conquering negative thinking. Within the framework of ski instruction, he teaches shortcuts to
peak performance that effectively translate into changes in personal and professional lives.
A member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America for 34 years, Tim has been a member of the organization's Sports Psychology Committee and a six-year delegate to the Austrian International School. He has worked with top firms, hosting
Corporate Skiing Seminars held in Sun Valley, Idaho. He has coached and guided executives through the process of self-discovery on the slopes and led them to a greater recognition of their goals and abilities.
Tim's approach stresses a creative awareness of the mind/body connection and the ways in which
physical effort can enhance mental ability. The elements of skiing - quickness, endurance, timing, power, balance, and flexibility - are clearly related to business performance. The connections are not just recognizable, but become a catalyst for motivation and meaningful, pragmatic change.
"Tim's ability to demonstrate the difference between the perceived difficulty of a given situation and the real facts builds confidence, not only in skiing, but in other facets of life as well. His technique can be successfully transferred .from the ski slopes to the boardroom."
- Malcolm Stamper, former CEO of Boeing
